The Alderwood Cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with our daughter and future son-in-law. The cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated, fully equipped (we love to cook), and the hot tub was fantastic. We loved the proximity to Rockaway beach. Oh, and the beds were so comfortable! Thank you for a wonderful weekend in your beautiful cottage.

My family's annual weekend at the beach is the last weekend in July, and we enjoyed our time at Rockaway Cottage. The cottage just fit the five of us, and we would the kitchen and dining facilities very workable; the hot tub was a wonderful element, especially after a day of hiking.

My wife and I and our children had a wonderful time at the Cottage on the Pond. The hot tub was perfect after spending the day at the beach and the beds were so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. The home is situated in a quite and peaceful area, but is close to town. Our children enjoyed watching the birds and animals on the pond. It was a wonderful retreat.

Alderwood Cottage 6/10-6/14. This is a great facility. Upon arrival it was clean and everything was as reported in the on-line advertisement. Stevie was very helpful over the phone and was able to assist us with some issues as they arose. Thank you for making this cottage available. It is close enough to enjoy the beach but yet far enough to be in the tress and offer some privacy.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Cottage on the Pond. Especially enjoyed the firepit and outside deck, complete with gas grill. Beds were comfortable, and plenty of pillows, sheets, towels, etc where supplied. Furthermore, all appliances worked well, and the kitchen was stocked with all the basics. We did bring our own coffee grinder and hair dryer. Next time we head to Rockaway Beach, we will surely request to stay here again. Thanks for paying attention to the details, Jim and Janet. Tigard.

Our long weekend at the Cottage on the Pond was exactly what this tired couple needed! Our dog loved playing on the beach during the day and nights were spent lazing in the hot tub and watching movies from the large video library. The house was clean, comfortable, and surrounded with scenery. We highly recommend a stay here!

My 4 girlfriends and I stayed at the Alderwood Cottage for a weekend away without the kids. What a treat! We were all amazed at how tastefully the house was decorated and how well-stocked the kitchen was. We especially appreciated the VERY comfortable beds as we all slept thru the night with no disturbances from babies/children. We hope to be back!

We spent a fantastic week in the Cottage on the Pond. Peaceful, private, well-stocked, great location, fantastic cozy beach town with endless coast to stroll along. The BBQ was much appreciated and well used. We felt very much at home throughout our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better location for our romantic getaway!

We stayed during the 4th of July holiday and had a wonderful time. The cottage was beautiful and Rockaway Beach was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better mini vacation. We will come again. The fire pit looked like the bottom had burned out, and we were a little bummed that there weren't any bikes.... but we had a wonderful time. Thanks again

I felt so very lucky to find a comfortable, relaxing cottage that would accept dogs as well as people. Thank you for sharing! The cottage was so comfortable and it was nice to have an outdoor space with a beautiful view of the sunset. The beach was just two blocks away which was perfect with the dogs. I've recommended the cottage to friends and planning on visiting again!

Perfect place, perfect location and perfect price. Thanks so much for providing me and my children a day of relaxation (Beacon Street Cottage) and the atmosphere of a real home (rather than a hotel). A walk along the beach was just what we all needed to center ourselves once again. I fell in love with the Oregon coast line and our visit to Rockaway Beach had lots to do with it! Thanks for the memories that will last a life time.

What an adorable place! I am from Louisville, Kentucky... My first visit to Oregon was in early May to see a friend I hadn?t seen for several years. The Beacon Street Cottage had all the comforts of home with a twist of nostalgia ? very clean and comfortable as well. We both enjoyed our way too brief stay immensely and I hope to return in the very near future. Thanks so much for the hospitality.

The Alderwood cottage was perfect for my birthday celebration with 7 of my closest girlfriends! The house was so cute and comfortable. The hot tub was a hit with cozy lighting. We walked to the beach and did plenty of relaxing. Everyone loved it! We can't wait to come again for longer or check out the other two cottages! Thanks!

Just wanted to say what a great retreat you've created, the Beacon Street Cottage was adorable, cozy, and perfect for a romantic getaway. We loved barbecuing, snuggling up in front of the fireplace and then slipping into the hot tub. We specially like the decor, and had great fun looking at all of the knick-knacks and reveling in the memories they evoked. We can't wait to stay there again.

The Beacon Street house is adorable, great bed, huge with the most delicious pillows, a great big bath tub and a spacious kitchen. I loved the wood burning stove, a nice supply of dried wood and the hot tub was a delight. I couldn't have had a better retreat, my dog Biscuit loved it as well. I really enjoyed all of the old National Geographic Magazines and the adorable record player and collection of records. Next time I visit I am going to bring records and donate them to the cottage so others can stack a whole bunch up, build a roaring fire and dance while cooking dinner. Thanks - ss

We had such a good time. The cottage was clean, quaint, and had everything we needed. It was the best looking and best priced cottage we could find on the Northern Coast. The location is nice and central yet quiet. Thanks so much. We will recommend it to everyone we know and will be back again.

The Cottage was a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The home is cozy and spacious. The location is quiet and serene. A hot tub overlooking a beautiful pond (or a sky full of stars!) was so relaxing. Rockaway Beach is a cute town with some great restaurants (check out Dos Rocas for quality, authentic Mexican food) & beautiful beaches. It was a delightful treat, staying at the Cottage! Thanks.

My 23 yr old daughter and I retreated at the Cottage in December 2009. Unseasonably cold everywhere. I left -15 weather in Nevada and picked her up in Portland. The drive out was beautiful and cold but, the sun came out with blazing glory in the canyon. It was too cold to spend much time at the beach. Being by the pond was like when we were little and found a special spot that I wished we didn't have to leave for food, and warmth, and sleep.. the Cottage didn't make us leave; we could be part of it. The decor creates a lovely space; just bring yourselves and some food..and you're good to hang out! Nicely done! Thanks.

We celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary at the Cottage on the Pond! It was a lovely, quiet little spot to decompress from our busy lives and relax and appreciate each other. The cottage was bright and cozy and welcoming. The pond and trees made everything feel serene and the hot tub was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks so much!

Such a pleasure! Our short 3 day/2 night stay at Beacon Street Cottage was nowhere near long enough. We're already thinking of how soon we can get back there for a longer stay. Such a charming, snug little place complete with woodstove (and wood) and hot tub. The location gave us access to the coast from Lincoln City to Cannon Beach and wonderful kiteflying sands only 1 1/2 blocks away. Quiet and secluded, it felt like a home away from home. Thanks so much.

Zoe & Stevie, We really enjoyed our time in Rockaway. The cottage is so comfy and relaxing even with a 6 yr. old running around. It is a great location with Tillamook close one way and Cannon Beach and Seaside not too far off the other direction. We had a great time showing my grandaughter's friend from North Carolina that Oregon is a special place to live. The weather wasn't the best, but "There's never a bad day at the beach!" Thanks again, and we will be back for sure!!

We would like to come back soon - unfortunately it's a long way getting there (we are living in Frankfurt, Germany). But the next vacation we will spend in Seattle (our friends home is there) we will defenately come over to Oregon and Rockaway Beach Cottage! Thanks Zoe & Stevie for your hospitality!!

Thank you Stevie and Zoe for sharing your lil piece of heaven with us. With all the budget cuts and ecomonic situations at our jobs we needed a stress free weekend and that's what the Cottage provides. I take care of my 80 yr old Mother and my man, Bill takes care of us all so the quiet and seclusion of the Cottage was perfect with the hot tub to melt away the stress. From the comfy beds to the well equiped kitchen to having two bathrooms was absolutely wonderful!! Thank you for a great stay. I love Rockaway but it was the first time for Bill but I think he is hooked on it too. We hope to take another respite in your lovely home. Gratitude from two tired folks....can hardly wait to be able to put a "re" in front of that tired, Sue and Bill

What a gem! We had such a wonderful time at the cottage. The location was very tranquil and serene, yet a short walk to the beach and the high street. The cottage is beautifully decorated in a very comfortable and inviting way, and you provided everything we needed to have a perfect stay. The beds were super comfortable and the fireplace was lovely to sit in front of in the evening and relax. The hot tub was just icing on the cake. We had lovely walks in the woods behind the cottage and also on the beach too. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect and enjoyable setting and for sure we will be back. Thank you, Stevie, for providing such an inviting sanctuary for our stay. Best to you, Caroline, Robert and Gracie.

What a fantastic vacation spot. Very quiet and tranquil....just what we needed after a hectic winter storm that hammered those of us in the Portland area. It was the perfect spot to relax and refresh our senses. The location is perfect for day trips up or down the coast to visit the antique shops. The one in Wheeler is bigger than you can imagine and filled with countless treasures. I highly recommend stopping at the Tillamook factory and taking the tour and sampling the wonderful treats that are made there. Anyway Stevie and Zoe were wonderful to deal with and i would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a great cottage to relax at to please choose this one. You're sure to enjoy the hot tub and the super comfortable beds. Thanks Stevie for everything. Sincerely Destry and Rachel

Hello, We all loved your cottage at the beach it was so peaceful and very relaxing. We all have had a busy year and really needed a break. I had not had a vacation in a long time. My friends flew in from Pennsylvania and loved being there. They used to live in the NW and this best of friends and her daughter (20) are both moving back to the NORTHWEST and I really think staying at your cottage pushed that decision!!!! Hooray...I never even went to the beach preferring to stay warm in your cottage and escape into the pond. Saw many birds and we fed them bird seed we had.....I am definatley coming back and I know my friends are too. I also have two couples that we hang out with that would absolutely love to stay there!!!! May your new year be filled with peace and joy and some time at your own cottage on the pond. LOL, Deborah

we had a great time at the cabin this last weekend. The cosyness of the home made us instantly relaxed and comfy. I loved the fireplace and the loft. what a fun, well orgazized, clean home. The pond was fun to look at, although we did not get to see the otters or the deer in the picture. We did see a duck and lots of crows. Thanks for opening this up. Oh yah, I LOVED the fact that this little town was not crowded, very friendly, and so close in. GREAT BEACH to walk on and relax on, and the train ride was fun too! cheryl

Your cute cottage on the pond is very nice! The home is new and fresh, the beds were comfortable and the setting was gorgeous. Even though there are a few homes behind the way the cottage sits facing the pond feels like it is secluded. Yet it is near the beach and the town and all that the Rockaway area has to offer. We will be back again soon! Thanks, Bob and Sybille
